The first in our monthly series introducing the team behind Dodona Analytics, this month Lucy...
Each month we chat to a different member of the Dodona team. This month the Tampa-based Kenny Fellows is in the spotlight.
As we bring our leading EV Charging Optimization platform to the US, I chat with Dodona eMobility Sales Manager Kenny Fellows, who has taken time out of a busy sales schedule to answer a few of my questions.
Hi Kenny, What do you do at Dodona?
I am on the commercial side of things here at Dodona, responsible for outreach across North America with the aim of properly fostering and creating meaningful connections so that CPO’s and the like can accurately leverage data exactly when and where it is needed.
What inspired you to choose this career?
As a former collegiate athlete I have always valued the work that goes into having success. It is not always that we can be a part of work where you truly get out what you put in, but I get that here in the world of sales. The work is never finished and there is always room for improvement. Pretty gratifying when you get those wins as well!
What’s the most exciting thing that you are working on right now?
Continuing the expansion into the US! With so much success in the UK and Europe, Dodona has huge aspirations and of course there aren’t many bigger markets than North America. To be a part of this growth is special.
What is your favorite part of working at Dodona?
People. People. People. The culture created here is so intentional and inclusive. I have never had such a high trust, high performance-type work space before. Who knew you are allowed to have fun at work.
What general career advice would you give to other professionals like you who are starting out, especially those wanting to work with a start-up?
Do something outside of your comfort zone. Before joining this career I was a bit more introverted and lacked some self confidence. Surround yourself with people who you want to emulate and are sitting where you want to sit. Stay hungry.
What are you reading, watching or playing that we should try?
Currently I am re-reading the Harry Potter series. Truly a classic and something I have done many times over for as long as I can remember. Seems all the more fitting with the recent passing of Maggie Smith. Let us raise our wands!
Who do you nominate next?
I nominate Luka Gorgiev from the technical side of things. Ask him about his home made BBQ!
Thank you Kenny, it was a pleasure to chat with you.
Coming up next month, Technical Consultant for Dododna Analytics Luka Gorgiev!
