Meet The Team: Anja Dacko

The first in our monthly series introducing the team behind Dodona Analytics, this month Lucy interviews Anja, our HR specialist.

As a leading EV Charging Optimization platform, Dodona is growing and we would like to introduce some of our team members!

It seems wise to start with HR -where would we be without a specialist who knows her stuff when it comes to finding the right fit for Dodona’s emobility journey? 

So this month I chat with HR Specialist Anja Dacko, as she recharges over her tipple and snack of choice- a refreshing glass of lemonade and a handful of crunchy cashews.

So, Anja, what do you do at Dodona?

I work as an HR Specialist, so I offer support in everything people-related, from hiring and admin to organizing events that bring us closer. 

What’s the most exciting thing that you are working on right now?

What I’m most excited about now is the growth of the company, both in terms of the new people who are joining and the results we will achieve together.

What is your favorite part of working at Dodona?

My favorite part of working at Dodona is the culture, to name a few more specific things - I love the team, the transparency and trust, and the flexibility of working at a remote-first company. 

What has the experience of working here taught you, and how will it help you in your career?

Working at Dodona has literally helped me find what it is I want to do. I got to wear multiple hats and get hands-on experience in different departments leading me to figure out what works best for me. I’m happy that I joined Dodona’s journey at the stage I did (I’ve been here for two years) and I am excited to be here to see the company grow and evolve, I think I will gain invaluable experience along the way. 

What do you think of our mission to support the future mobility industry and, specifically, clean transportation?

I strongly believe in our mission and I think we’re a part of an extremely important industry. I’m happy that we plan to meet future mobility whatever direction it goes in and I like the idea that we contribute to a cause like clean transportation that can impact the environment and people’s quality of life so positively. 

Great, thank you! And on a lighter note now - what are you reading, watching or playing at the moment, that maybe we should try?

I have been going down memory lane lately and rewatching crime shows like Bones and Psych. I can confirm they’re still just as good and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for an easy watch and a bit of nostalgia.

And who do you nominate next?

I would like to nominate one of our newest colleagues to be interviewed for next month’s Meet the Team - Kenny Fellows. Kenny joined us last month as our Business Development Rep in the US, and has had a productive first few weeks.  So, welcome Kenny and I look forward to reading your interview next month!
