This month, Account Manager and EV evangelist Junaid Muneer shares his passion for supporting our environment, decarbonizing transport, and making a difference by working in the EV industry.
We know how important it is to support clean transportation for the benefit of future generations, but it is a mission in which many of our team members feel personally invested.
This is certainly the case for this month’s Meet the Team interviewee - Junaid Muneer. Our Account Manager for Europe and EV evangelist, Junaid discusses what inspires him in his career within the industry, and his goals for our customers, helping build the infrastructure that supports the future of clean mobility.
Hi Junaid, Thank you for your time!
Let’s start with what inspired you to join the company.
I’ve always been passionate about the environment and the urgent need to act on climate change. Coming from Pakistan, a country already dealing with the harsh effects of rising temperatures and environmental instability, I’ve seen how deeply this crisis affects lives and livelihoods. After university, I interned with WWF Pakistan, where I worked on sustainability projects that sparked a long-term interest in clean energy and climate resilience. When I came across Dodona Analytics, it felt like the right place to turn that passion into something practical. The idea of using data and intelligence to support the rollout of EV charging infrastructure, and in doing so, accelerate the transition to cleaner transport, was something I knew I wanted to be part of.
What does your department do at Dodona?
The Sales team at Dodona Analytics plays a key role in helping clients unlock their full potential using our data-driven tools. As an Account Manager, I work closely with charge point operators, infrastructure developers, and public sector bodies to understand their challenges and show how our intelligence can guide better decision-making. Whether they’re planning new EV charging networks, evaluating site viability, or setting long-term strategy, our job is to make sure they have the insight they need to move forward with confidence. In my opinion, we’re not just selling software, we’re helping build the infrastructure that supports the future of clean mobility.
What do you think of the mission to support the future mobility industry and, specifically, clean transportation?
It’s a mission I feel personally invested in. Decarbonizing transport is essential if we’re serious about tackling climate change, and electric vehicles are a major part of that. But it’s not just about getting more EVs on the road, it’s about making sure the charging infrastructure is smart, accessible, and built in the right places at the right time. That’s what makes Dodona’s work so important. We help the industry move faster and with more confidence by guiding key decisions with data. Being part of a team that’s enabling that shift, especially in a space that can sometimes be fragmented or uncertain, feels incredibly meaningful.
What do you like to do outside Dodona?
Music and travel are my two big passions. I love going to gigs and immersing myself in live performances, as there is nothing like the atmosphere of a great concert, especially when it’s rock or metal. I also enjoy getting out and exploring new places, whether it’s a short weekend trip or a spontaneous hike somewhere new. Long walks are usually how I decompress and clear my head after a busy week. If you give me a scenic trail and some headphones, I’m happy.
What inspired you to choose this career?
For me, it was about finding a career where purpose meets action. I’ve always liked the challenge of solving real problems, and sales gave me the foundation for that early on. But I wanted to go further than just selling, I wanted to be part of something that actually drives change. Working in a space like clean transportation, especially around EV charging infrastructure, brings that to life. I get to work with people across the industry, understand their goals, and help them take practical steps toward a more sustainable future. That mix of impact, strategy, and collaboration is what keeps me motivated.
What are you reading, watching, or playing that we should try?
I recently went to Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert, Back to the Beginning, which brought together some of the biggest names in rock and metal to pay tribute to Ozzy and Black Sabbath. It was an unforgettable night, and it inspired me to dive back into Sabbath’s early albums. I’ve also been playing guitar and learning some of their classic riffs, as there is something powerful about picking up those heavy, timeless sounds yourself. If you’re into music with real energy and soul, I definitely recommend revisiting those early Sabbath records.
Thank you Junaid, it was a real pleasure talking to you, hearing your passions and hopes for customers of Dodona Analytics, and the industry as a whole.
