How FOR EV is Driving Smarter Fleet Electrification

As the EV market charges up, FOR EV is setting the standard in charging infrastructure for fleet vehicles. We spoke to FOR EV on how it transformed its Charge Point Planning (CPP), wrapping it all up into a shiny new case study.
As demand for the electrification of fleet-vehicles increases, the need for smart, scalable infrastructure has never been greater. FOR EV - a leading EV fleet electrification solutions provider - is answering this need through its FOR Fleets Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) model.
Working with major clients such as Network Rail Scotland, public bodies, and the private sector, it needed complete confidence in its site assessment process, and turned to the Dodona Analytics CPP Platform to deliver it.
“Although adequate, we wanted our site assessment to be bullet-proof, supporting our leading FOR Fleets Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) model with best-in-class insight.”
FOR EV was looking for a solution a number of key challenges, including:
- Confident decision-making: With assessment data sourced from a combination of existing sites and open-source tools, FOR EV struggled to get an accurate projection of a site’s potential.
- A central point for all data and analysis: The team lacked a real time, central view of all data during analysis, and no way to visualize or present a site’s assessment score
- Operational efficiency: A manual process for sourcing and inputting data, with scoring executed in Excel, meant that the individual assessment of each potential site was time-consuming and inefficient.
Its story is a compelling one, with manual processes being replaced with rapid, intelligent site assessment. FOR EV was soon utilizing the platform in its charge point planning process to conduct accurate site assessment tailored to its customers’ needs, while also benefitting from competitive insight and a consolidated, collaborative work environment for its team.
“Our site assessment process is smarter, seamless, and incredibly efficient now.”
The new case study explores its story of transformation in detail, looking at how FOR EV resolved its key challenges with data-driven processes using the Dodona Analytics platform, and the significant benefits that this transformation is bringing to the business.
